About Shenzhen

Welcome to Shenzhen

Shenzhen, in southeastern China, is a modern metropolis that links Hong Kong to China’s mainland. It's known for its shopping destinations, including Luohu Commercial City, a massive mall with a vast array of wares, from tailors’ custom clothing to faux designer bags.

One of the most famous city of China, Shenzhen is a fast-growing, dynamic conurbation that, while courting foreign businesses and visitors, maintains a strong grip on its rich cultural heritage. The city also features contemporary buildings, such as the 600m-tall skyscraper Ping An International Finance Centre, and a number of amusement parks.Shenzhen Museum displays cultural handicrafts and fossils, while He Xiangning Art Museum has modern works by Chinese and international artists. Nearby OCT-Loft is a cluster of old factories converted into contemporary art galleries and hip boutiques. Another attraction is Dafen Painting Town, where artists reproduce classic paintings. East of the city are beaches such as popular Dameisha Beach Park, as well as Fairy Lake Botanical Garden, home to 7,000 plant species and a petrified forest. Dapeng Fortress, on the Dapeng Peninsula, is an atmospheric walled village dating to the 14th century.
